Man, A Machine

In this chaotic world, do we get time to settle down.

Time to lie on our beds and contemplate our day.

Time to subtly sit and drink tea with our loved ones.

Time to be happy and content with rest.
We see ourself running an endless marathon,

Trying to reach the end, not enjoying the journey.

Carelessly fatigued and monotonously torchered,

By the grimm disguised as us.

We follow the same routine, trying to fit into this world.

We are caught into the whirlpool,

Where beginning and end seem the same.

Endlessly drowning daily, getting caught in the whirlpool again

We see others running and others see us,

Being in a constant competetion, we forget to breathe.

Doped with the highest of insecurites,

What are we? A man? Or a Machine.

DEMONS

This is the only thing i know for sure
The darkness that lies is less ofcourse
I am in love with a demon that guides my way
I dont know where but she’s gonna take me away

From the land of weakness i am fighting my way up
To battle the demons that lie within us
All i saw was darkness that sparkled in my eyes
The voice that guided me was the demon inside

It took me to places i never would have gone
To loose my conscience as i walked across
She showed me a room and gave me a choice
A choice to leave or to fight her inside

I chose to stay and battle inside
Come out as a winner not a looser by choice
Its been ages and i am still struggling inside
I should have left when i had the choice

This is the only thing i know for sure
The darkness that lies is less ofcourse
I am in love with a demon that guides my way
I dont know where but she really took me away
